When considering building. Buying or upgrading a PC the first considerations are "what do I want my new PC to do?" and "how much do I want to spend". In essence, the first question means "what software do I want to Use?".

Your task is to produce a specification for a PC, beginning with the software you wish to run, and identify each component you will require to produce the finished workstation.

Obviously you will require a motherboard a case / power supply and a monitor / keyboard / mouse etc. but depending upon your chosen motherboard’s specification, your personal references and the all important budget, you will also require:-

Produce a costed breakdown of your proposed PC and identify any area of potential cost vs. Performance options.
